The West Capitol Broncos were founded in 1016 ADD to cater to the west side of the Capitol and were added to the Panem Football League. Their name, the Bronco, comes from the nickname of the former NFL team of the rockies, the Denver Broncos.
The Broncos joined the Panem Football League on July 3, 1016 ADD, and were assigned to the Western Conference. They would play their first season poorly without playoff appearances, finishing the year at a league worst 2-14, only better than the Rams.
The team finally achieved some success in 1017 ADD. The team played solid, beating most of their conference opponents and getting just enough wins to grab the 4th seed with a 10–6 record. Unfortunately, they lost in the first round of the playoffs. The loss was provided by heartbreaking blowout by the District 9 Chiefs, the final score reaching 6–33.
